Custom Match Issue Nike Phantom GT Elite SG-Pro

In for review this month we have a pair of Nike Phantom GT Elites in the Photo Blue/ Metallic Silver/ Rage Green colour way.

This pair was made in Nike's Montebelluna factory in Italy, and come with no size tags, but measure to be a UK 7.

Off of first sighting, you will notice a few changes from a retail pair.

Upper wise, they appear to be the same as a regular GT, although the shape does feel like it is slightly different in the toe box. This could be due to what is on the bottom of the boot however. Much like the retail pair, this is a fully flyknit upper, with the Generative Texture added to the top.

This pair is rocking a one piece, full length soleplate which was first found on the CTR360 2 and Tiempo 4. Made up of 7 fixed plastic studs, and 6 metal screw in studs, this soleplate is used by pros such as Harry Kane, John Stones, and Sergio Busquets.

Because of the one piece soleplate, the generative texture pattern is mimicked underneath by a graphic to look like a standard SG pair. Because of the soleplate used, there is also an addition piece of material at the heel, because the standard soleplate goes higher than this custom one.

The liner feel very much the same as a standard retail pair, and the opening to the boot is also standard.

Keep your eyes peeled in the upcoming weeks where I will have another very special pair of match issue boots coming in.
